Baby Face Washcloth

Materials:
(US) size 7 needles, 2 ounces Worsted Weight Cotton in desired color (Example was made using [pending])

Special Instructions
*sb=small bobble: k1 into front loop without removing st from left needle, k1 into back loop of same st without removing st from left needle, k1 again into front loop of same st. You now have three stitches from one stitch on your right needle. Using your left knitting needle, lift the st furthest away over the other two sts, then lift the second st over the first.

Cast on 41.

Felted Flower Magnet

Finished size: Approx. 2-3 inches, depending on what type of yarn is used and how it felts.

Materials:
small round magnet, small decorative button or charm (optional), (US) size H hook, small amount of worsted weight feltable wool. (Example was made using Paton’s Classic Merino Wool in Black)

Round 1: ch 3, 7 sc in 3rd ch from hook, join with sl st in top of beg ch, do not turn. (8 sc)

Round 2: ch 12, sc in same st, *(sc, ch 10, sc) in next st, rep from * around. Join with sl st in 2nd ch of beg ch 12 (this leaves 10 ch for the loop). (16 sc, and 8 ch 10 spaces)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Felt as desired.

Glue magnet to back.

Glue or sew button or charm to center front of flower.

**Can also be made into a pin by attatching a pin back in place of the magnet.**

Round 1: ch 4, 11 dc in 4th ch from hook, join with sl st in top of beg ch, do not turn. (12 dc)

Round 2: ch 3, dc in same st, (2 dc in next st) 11 times, join with sl st in top of beg ch, do not turn. (24 dc)

Round 3: ch 3, 2 dc in next st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in next st) repeat 11 times, dc in next st, join with sl st in top of beg ch. (36 dc)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Cyndi's Favorite Dishcloth


Finished size: Approximately 8 inches

Materials:
(US) size H hook, 1.75 ounces Worsted Weight Cotton in desired color (Example was made using Peaches ‘n Cream’s Peppermint)

Chain 30

NOTE: turning ch does not count as a stitch.

Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn. (29 sc)

Row 2: sc in front loop only of 1st sc, (sc in back loop only of next sc, sc in front loop only of next sc) 14 times, ch 1, turn.

Rows 3-24: Repeat row 2. Do not fasten off.

Edging:

Round 1: Working through BOTH loops, sc in each st across top; working along side, sc in end of each row placing 2 sc in 1st and last row; sc in each of the free loops from beginning ch along the bottom; working along other side, sc in end of each row placing 2 sc in 1st and last row; ch 1, do not turn.

Round 2: sc in each of next 29 sts, ch 10, sc in each of remaining sts around. Join with sl st in 1st st, ch 1, do not turn.

Round 3: Reverse sc in each sc around, placing 10 reverse sc in hanging loop.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.
