April,

This square is soooo pretty! I'm going to be trying it out, as I have some 12" squares to make, both for personal and for other things. Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful patterns!

okay, I'm gonna be in on this CAL as well. Can anyone suggest a color idea?
This is the first sampler afghan I have made, so I'm not sure do I do all one color or what??

Hi Shadow, thanks for following along!! I used pale yellow for this particular block, but you can use any color/colors you like!

Over all I'm doing pastels for the first six blocks. I haven't entirely mde up my mind yet about the next six. I may keep the pastel theme, but I was also thinking about doing brights for the other six.

And a lot of people have been doing color changes on each block so that each square has a few different colors. It's all up to you want you would like to do. :)

Would it look stupid all in one neutral cream color??

April said...

No, not at all. It would look lovely all in Cream. I think Sissie is doing her's all in a neutral color like that. :)

Hiya April,
Me again! *giggle*
Just a typo, on row nine when it says repeat from, it is missing the *. It should say repeat from *. Not important really, just letting you know!

Hugs

Just finished this square (finally!) and, like the others I've done of yours, it was super easy to follow, and turned out just right! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with the rest of us...
