Missouri or Bust!

Well, it seems that Maryland is no longer the “perfect fit” for our family. My oldest DD and her hubby have decided to trek halfway (literally) across the country—with family in tow—to Mountain Grove, Missouri! Why Mountain Grove? It’s SIL’s hometown. He and DD have been planning to move out there since they got married last year, but it wasn’t supposed to be a reality for a few more years. Some things have recently happened however, that hinted to us that there is no time like the present to take action! And of course I can't let them take my little Ben away from me, so I've decided that DS and I are tagging along!

We will be leaving Maryland at the beginning of July, and plan to be out there by the Fourth so we can party “Missouri Style” in celebration of the country’s B-day. LOL In the mean time, I've been frantically packing up all of my yarn & crafting goodies. So far I have four large boxes of yarn, and still have a lot more to pack. Jeez, I didn’t know I had collected so many yarnie things! The sad thing is, I know the crafting supplies will take up more room in the Uhaul than clothes or furniture. LOL

I typically hate moving, but I'm really looking forward to this one. New scenery, new town, new adventures... I know it will be the best thing for our family, especially Ben. He will get to meet is "other" grandmother and his aunts, uncles, and cousins all for the first time. :) So, with nothing here in MD holding us back, WESTWARD HO!
