Flower Pot Bookmark
Flowerpot Bookmark
Materials: (US) size 7 steel hook, size 10 cotton thread: light brown or terra cotta color; pastel variegated, tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
FLOWER POT:
ch 11
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sc across, turn.
Row 3: sl st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each of next 7 sts, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: skip first st, sc in next st and in each st across, ch 1, turn.
Row 5: sc across, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Rep row 4.
Row 7: Rep row 5.
Row 8: Rep row 4, fasten off, weave in ends.
FLOWER:
ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, do not join.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st in top of beg sc.
Rnd 3: ch 1, sc in same st, ch 4, *skip next st, sc in next st, ch 4, rep from * 4 times more, join with sl st in top of beg sc.
Rnd 4: sl st into next ch 4 sp, ch 1, 7 sc in same ch 4 sp, *7 sc in next ch 4 sp, rep from * 5 times more, sl st in top of beg sc, ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 dc in next ch, sl st in next ch, **ch 19, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 dc in next ch, sl st in next ch, rep from ** 4 times more, ch 10, join with sl st to center of row 1 of flower pot, weave in ends.
